2003 cp Creaking suspension

I have a 2003 corvette coupe with magnetic ride control and the suspension creaks at low speed on uneven roadway. It has 70K miles, I have owned it for 4 months, always an Arizona car, clean undercarriage. I have sprayed grommets with silicone but didn't help. Anyone experience this and if so what do you suggest? Regards Jerry

Make sure you inspect the shocks closely. Be sure the shipping plugs were removed by the new selling dealer during prep. I see this all the time. Examine the shocks to be sure there is no little yellow "ribbon" sticking out of the boots. If the stuffers are still in place, remove them to reveal a whole new car !!!

Jerry, I think your on the right track ,Sometimes it takes dropping the sway bar brackets and removing the rubber bushings and using a little silicone grease on the rubber bushings that mount to the frame. If you canl tell if its coming from the front or rear grease them. If not grease the front and rear.When the bushings get dry they thend to creak over bumps,and spraying doesn.t aways get into the rubber bushing because its a tight fit.

Tom, I have seen those blocks when not removed to causing the suspension to feel like it bottoming out. when it shouldn't . Creaking? Maybe.

Edward, thanks for the reply. I will look closer at those joints. Someone else also suggested using wd40 but I'm not sure if that is a good idea or not. Regards Jerry
