    Reproduction rally wheels for driver

    Who would have the best rally wheels for a driver? Looking for a rally that would be the best at being able to balance out and run good on the street. Are all the reproduction kind of off when it comes to being able to balance them?

      Keep a eye on craigslist as I see rally's all the time for sale at there site. The eight inch wheels are east to find..

          However, always check used wheels for excessive wear on the lug nut seats.

              Kelsey-Hayes (Hayes Wheel) no longer manufactures these wheels although they did up until only several years ago. All of the reproduction wheels are manufactured by "small time" wheel manufacturers. I don't think there are any on the market that have the exact same wheel offset as original wheels. However, they are very close. I believe that Wheel Vintiques in Fresno, California is one of the major sources for the reproduction wheels.

                  What is the proper back spacing on the rally wheel for the C 3 cars? Is it 4.5?

                      Lyndon, Correct AZ 15x8 rally wheels are readily available. You can probably find bunches for sale through Google the Parts For Sale sections of the various Corvette Forums. Look long enough and you are likely to find a set with the date codes you want. No real need to purchase reproduction wheels.

                          The OFFSET of 1969-82 "AZ" rally wheels is -0.50".
