Recently I purchased off of a running engine a Holley Carburetor List #4054 Chevrolet number 3925519-AN production date 832. I’m trying to determent what car it came from I believe it was only for a 1968 or early 1969 L88. The 1967 L88 used Holley #R3418/3886091; the 1969 L88 used #R4054/3225519 or #4296/3955205. Please any information would be appreciated I’m planning on selling it but I want to make sure to list it correctly.

Re: Holley #4054 Carburetor
Thanks, to everyone with the feedback in regards to my carburetor. The question that has my interest is in regards to the List number. I have been told that carburetor’s used on the production line for the L88 did not have an “R” in the list number. Carburetor’s sold from Holley and GM over the counter will have the letter “R” prior to the list number. Feedback from L88 owners or some one who has knowledge of the difference in the list numbers would be appreciated.

Re: Holley #4054 Carburetor
Somewhere I read that there were 80 L88's made in 68 and only 160 carbs made. Some 69's also got 4054's. I also remember reading that Holley never sold 4054's themselves because GM owned the sole rights to it. You see lots of 67's (3418?) for sale and lots of 69's (4296) but very rarely 68 4054's.- Top
