67 storage compartment lid - decals

My 67 has the original storage compartment lid. The underside has 3 decals (or glued instructions): JP Stevens carpet notice, Posi-traction caution notice and Jack instructions. I think I may be missing an inspection decal. Can anyone tell me if there is an inspection decal, what should be on it / what does it look like (picture) would help.

    Thanks

    Ron -

I'm not aware of any "inspection decal" in addition to those that you noted.

Like John said I dont think there is a inspection sticker. My June 67 has just the three. Here's a picture of their location.

(I agree) and I didn't contest it for 1 point and was confident of a Top Flight (scored 96.5%). However, I too was not aware of an inspection sticker and it is not referenced in the JG. Researching it further I found a listing in the LIC catalog for a jack board carpet inspection number label 65-7 (in addition to the JPS sticker). This other inspection has the number 11 on it.

I am forwarding an email to Nick Culkowski for his review.

        Thanks.

Ron, not sure if this helps but my late 1966 has a 11 decal. It is near the hole where you put your finger to lift up the lid. My original lid also has the decals on the right side like yours in the picture.

Thanks Michael, you confirmed that is the decal I'm missing. I found it in the LIC catalog and they told me it just has the number 11 on it. Maybe the update of the 67 JG with add it.

It is yellow background with green numbers. I have not seen anything other than #11.

Interesting - I know the new '66 JG mentions it, but the original cover on my '67 doesn't have one, and images I have of six other known-original '67 covers don't have it either (unless it's hidden under one of the other larger stickers).

                  Ron,

The new 5th edition 67 CTIM&JG does say a label may or may not be present, so a deduction should not be made either way going forward...

                    Nick,

Where do we get the 5th Edition 1967 CTIM&JG? The NCRS bookstore page only shows the 4th edition.

                      Scott,

It is in production... call it at phase 1 of about 5. CTIM&JG's are usually not released until after the National.

This one has way to go, but will have more information, judging guidance and will have color photos. We are very excited about the improvements and are working as quickly as possible toward final production.

Ron, hi, Chris here. We met in Texas at the NCRS meet. I'm the guy with the 67 red convertible. Anyway, my original jack board does have the "11" on it, but it is a really early car (#183).

Ironic this morning I was looking starting the replacing of my carpet on my jack lid and was admiring the origunal decals on the back side.
There was no #11 sticker, the other 3 were present. 67 Car # 276 built Aug 66.

My glove box lid has a 66 tire pressure decal also.
Gm didin't empty the bins when the next model year started. I'm amazied how many 66 parts are on my early 67.

Michael, as I said in my initial posting, I had the other 3 (original but worn) no #11. I was surprised when I got a deduct for missing #11. I don't think there was ever one on my car since I'm the original owner and the other 3 are original. Based on Nick Culkowski's posting (67 Team Leader) we are OK with or without it. I did get one for $2.00 from LIC. The next time I see that judge I may ask him to buy me a coffee to offset my unnecessary $2.00 expense.
