Frame stencil-early 62

We had sunny 70* today so I braved trying to remove a little undercoating to expose the frame stencil on my early 62. See pics. It looks like 7.7.61 and then the numbers above. There wasn't much there of the first few numbers/letters?? What should it be?

303190 is the prefix.

What have you been using to remove the undercoating? I have the same problem and have used Simple Green and elbow grease. On my frame stencil I only went as far as exposing a few digits and then stopped because I was afraid I might remove stencil.

I just tried to expose the stencil that was covered by the dealership undercoating. I used diesel fuel and a sponge scrubber. The first couple digits from right-to-left under the car must have been very thin. I tried to be very careful to just expose the red paint, but there must not have been much on that side. I have decided to not do the rest.
