    1963/1964-1967 power brake booster

    I am looking to replace the (incorrect) power brake booster with a (nearly) correct one on my '63. I relaise that there are no 63 replacement power brake boosters avaible. There are however several aftermarket 64-67 power brake booster suppliers and the pricerange varies substantially. Is there any reason for this variation in prices, is it US made versus Asian/Chinese, or is it realy a quality issue? Can someone give me some idea on how this works and provide me with an hint on what the best (after the real deal of course) made replacement power brake booster is for a '63.

      Ruud, I would advise to stay away from the China repro parts,and stay with a known corvette vender, As fit a function is what you'll want,and you will get what you pay for with the China stuff.

              Ruud, I'm confused. You are looking to replace the incorrect one with another incorrect one? Leave the one you have and spend your time searching for a good used restored original. I know the price is high, approximately $850.00, but why spend your money on the wrong one.

              As far as I know none of the reproductions/after market boosters looks anywhere near what the 63 booster looked like.
