Are the ujoints in the driveshaft and the halfshafts the same? Thanks

No, they are not.
Driveshaft ones may have grease zerks, halfshaft ones don't.

The half shaft u-joints are not only slightly larger, but are usually seen with a raised boss on one side and sometimes have the name Spicer on them in raised letters. GM replacements are usually seen with a zerk grease fitting. The u-joints for the drive shaft are marginally smaller and have a depression in the center. I have never seen any originals with a zerk grease fitting, maybe an aftermarket, but not an original."SOLID LIFTERS MATTER"- Top
