Are the ujoints in the driveshaft and the halfshafts the same? Thanks

    No, they are not.

Driveshaft ones may have grease zerks, halfshaft ones don't.

Should there be grease zerks in the drive shaft?

Usually, there are no grease fittings on original driveshaft u-joints.

The half shaft u-joints are not only slightly larger, but are usually seen with a raised boss on one side and sometimes have the name Spicer on them in raised letters. GM replacements are usually seen with a zerk grease fitting. The u-joints for the drive shaft are marginally smaller and have a depression in the center. I have never seen any originals with a zerk grease fitting, maybe an aftermarket, but not an original.

                Rick

The u-joints for the driveshaft have a bearing cup diameter of 1 1/16 " while the halfshafts use
                a bearing cup at 1 3/16" diameter.
