    c-1 clutch fork

When I pulled trans to clean up everything the throw put bearing fell out along with pieces of the retainer clip from the fork. Question is, does the new retainer when installed on the old fork tuck under the "dogears" of the fork or stay out from under the tabs ? Obviously , once you rivot the retainer in place you cant change your mind. thanks Mike 53700

I recently replaced the retainer on a '59 fork. It goes under the ears to keep it in place. Found this photo(for 67+ but similar) from a ebay ad for you....Rich
