New A/C Drier is for R134a?

    New A/C Drier is for R134a?

    I just got my new AC Delco drier, part #15-240/3046236. The label indicates it should be used with R134a (and that it is made in China).

    I believe it is also compatible with an R12 system. This link indicates (under "receiver-driers") that it contains XH-7 or XH-9 desiccant which may be used with R12.

    My concern is that there may be some incompatible oil used in assembly, such as Pag or ester?
    Can anyone comment on this?

      No, all (99.9%) driers are usually shipped dry. your are good to go.....
