I have both tank stickers for my 67 and 68. The 67s tank sticker is being kept in a plastic file folder and the 68s came to me laminated. is there anything wrong with the lamination idea??

Re: Preserving (storing) original tank stickers
Some kinds of plastic are OK, others not so much. There is/was a lot of contraversy about laminating archival documents, but someone else did the dead for you so in your case that toothpaste is out of the tube. Some people believe in the theory that we are only custodians of these documents and that we should do nothign that is not reversable. My knowledge about this stuff goes back to my days with my local historical society -- and that is several decades ago, so my knowledge is not current. If you have a local historical society, or perhaps even your local library, check there to see if they have someone schooled in historical document preservation.
Also check these guys int he link below. They have document storage materials, and there is a lot of good information on their site. Of course, as with any business, they want to sell you what they have available -- but you can do far worse as far as advice goes.
