Are there any current sources for the correct A arm bushings with the GM stamps and recessed heads or do I need to go to the junk yard. A previous post by Mike McCagh said that the 49 to 54 passenger cars had interchangeable A arms, shafts and bushings.

Re: Correct C1 A arm bushings
I got the whole kit from Paragon an am very pleased. I don't think you can should try to find used bushings. Hopefully Tom Parsons will add some comments. You need to seacrh and read his step by step of rebuilding the front end of a C1.- Top

1957 NOS Suspention lower control arm shafts 3693459 200 2.jpg1957 NOS Suspention lower control arm shafts 3693459 200.jpgHi Keith , you still can find NOS lower & outer A arm bushings on fleebay & other sights, as long as they are in the yellow & black 1st issue boxes they usually have the correct style nut. The eariler 1940's NOS lower shafts are incorrect as they have jam nuts on them..........The ones in pictures may still be too early, but will work on early C1's.- Top
