1969 signal flasher tung sol 224?

My signal flasher went bad a few days ago on my 69. The blinkers just stay on. The flasher is a blue plastic unit marked tung sol 224 and has a capacitor of some type attached to the two prongs on the plug. Appears to be original. I figured I would see if it was the correct flasher before trying to track one down. Does anyone know the correct part number?Gary

Wait for Pete Lindahl to post, but what you describe spunds right to me. I suppose you could convince yourself by looking for the date code stamped into the side of the flasher. Very small numbers. IIRC it will be WWY where W = week and Y= last digit of the year. Example 139 = 13 week of 1969. Does the lettering on the top include the letters DOT? Do the two prongs have a hole in each prong?

Edit add: Is this the flasher mounted on the fuse panel, or one attached to a clip under the passenger side dash panel -- the one with the storage pocket in it?

This is the flasher on the passenger side.

Isn't the passenger side flasher for the turn signals and the fuse panel flasher for the emergency lights/flashers?

Gary - The Tung-Sol flasher #224 with the blue plastic cover and the split screw tab (the tab was used by Ford) on the top of the cover
was one of the turn signal flashers used on 1969 Corvettes. The upper half of the top of the original flasher was embossed "TUNG-SOL 224"
in larger letters and under that "2 LAMP 12 VOLT" in small letters and on the lower half "SAE J5906" and under that "USA PAT.RE 24023 both
in small letters and finally under that FLASHER in larger letters. You might also find a production date code stamped vertically on the side of
the plastic cover. The format is "WW" for the week of the year and "Y" for the last digit of the production year. Pete
