    1966 Fuel Line Diameter

I keep seeing references and discussions (not here) about the difference in fuel line diameters between a BB and a SB. 1966 vintage. I know about the bend and all that, but what about the diameter, ID, OD or both. The latest reference to this difference was in the "Tech Nerd" area of the June 2012 issue of "Corvette Magazine". There was a dicussion there about changing the SB 3/8 inch diameter line to the larger 7/16 inch BB version. I don't see any reference to this in the JG.

    Is there a difference?

    Thanks

    Bob

Both BB and SB have the same O.D. fuel line tubing (tank to fuel pump), and it's 3/8".

      Thanks Wayne,

That's what I figured, but I needed someone "in the know" to validate it for me. Thanks. Time to write to Corvette Magazine next.

      Thanks

NO Corvette EVER used a 7/16" fuel line----absolutely NONE.
