    Re: Ray Morrison

Ray was one of a kind. He always had a smile and was a great source of information. He trained many future judges on and off the judging field. When you first met Ray he seemed a little tough, but once you got to know him Ray was a quality guy with a soft side. It is a great loss to NCRS with the passing of Ray Morrison.

      Re: Ray Morrison

ray was initialy a MAC/NCRS member when we first met. i was the 1966 national team leader and was getting burnt out with the job. he'd worked with our 66 teams and i recommended he take my spot as the team leader. he never let me down. he was far bettter a team leader than the fellows that preceeded and proceeded him. am at dennis clarks home in lyle wash this evening and we discussed all our old buddies who have left this world in the last 30 years. ray ranked up there with the roby prices, the carl strohms, the dave fergusons, the sam foltzs, the howard kirschs and god only knows who i've missed. rest in peace, old bud.mike

I just seen Ray at the NCRS FL meet in January and said hello. I always told him that he looked like an ex-NFL football player. Great guy. He will be missed.

A Virginia Gentleman who will be sorely missed by me. He advanced my knowledge of this hobby and elevated my desire
to do a better job not only as a car owner but as a judge. He helped me achieve 3 Duntov Awards and always with a smile.
Tough but Firm and never unwilling to learn something new about these cars. A caring human being who is a tremendous loss
for NCRS, the Corvette Hobby and Humanity. I last spoke to him last year and we kidded about inmortality. The irony of life.
            A class act indeed.
            Rest my Friend.
