    Pinchwelt Mounting Screw Question

Can't seem to locate my mounting screws for my pinchwelt moldings.
Two questions; who produces the correct screws;replacements look like they are chrome, but wouldn't have they been painted the body color? Pictures would be great if someone has any!

Thanks in advance for the help, just about done with a four year restoration journey and ready for the next phase of the process.

    Mike,
I assume by pinch welt moldings you refer to the outboard side kick panels. The 3 screws on each side are a unique phillips head configuration that sandwich the sheet metal trim strip. I always replate the original screws avoiding incorrect replacements.

      Michael -

Do you mean the small Phillips screws for the pinchwelt caps at the top of the "B"-pillar rib on a coupe?

You are correct, they are the small Phillips screws, want to confirm style, who to purchase from and as mentioned are they painted the body colorwhen the car would have been painted. I do know that the outside of the pinchwelt molding is painted the body color and the inside is painted the interior color.

If you can't find them at the usual Corvette vendors, I'm pretty sure Richard Fortier has them (see his large ads in the "Driveline"). Yes, they were painted.
