67 Power Window Wire Connections

When installing a new power window wiring harness, Anyone got any tips for connecting the wire terminals to the grounding lug and terminals of the power window motors if the window assembly with motors are already installed in the door. I can barely reach the wire ends on the old wires, but cannot squeeze them to release them from the motor. (Note, old wires were cut off just inside the door hinge area opening). Also, I'm afraid I might not get the new wires installed correctly back onto the ground or into the motor socket if I can't reach them good enough or see the connections. Either I have short arms or the large access hole in the door is located too far from the motors. Any help is appreciated!! Al

Never did. Spliced new harness wires to the old and pushed them back into the door out of sight. Zig, I was trying to figure out how to remove and re-install the wires to the motors. Everything else was correct for me.
