    1957 C1 Hood underside deduction

Like most of the C1 hoods mine needs repairing around the hinges. The under side of the hood has a texture to it . You can see the raise fiberglass. Very faint . Is there a way to texture the repaired area . What would be the deduction if the complete underside of the hood was smooth. No texture

I do not think that would be a big problem just as long you blend the new repaired smooth area to transition smoothly in to the ruffer area. My 57 is mostly smooth except for the outer areas. I see no problems because when they clay barred the holes from out of the mold , the end result was not the same on any one car..........
