Pretty sure they are the PS2 ZP -- they are run flats. I don't have the courage to go with non-run flats given the mileage I rack up going to NCRS events and Road Tours.

      Can anyone comment on this?
I agree with Clem, and that is backed up by Tom Hill, BG Quality Engineer (or some title close to that). Tom told us (the Advanced Judging Seminar) in Florida several times that the alignment is set up for cornering and not street driving. He said the same thing in 2010 to the same audience at the National in North Carolina. They (the Corvette Engineering Team) believe most Corvette owners will drive their car in a manner that compliments the more aggressive alignment. Those of us who do long distance highway travel are out of luck, so far.

        Re: Good Year Run Flats

Based on a previous thread, I took my new 09 C6 to the dealer to have it aligned.
If I remember correctly, the alignment tech showed me the GM computer screen. It had specs for "touring". I had my alignment changed to that.
        Thanks for the advise guys.

2007 Z06, I stretched the first set of tires out to 15K miles. Rears weren't as bad as the fronts but all 4 were done! Fronts had the wire brush look on the first 3" of inside tread!!! Next 2 sets of tires didn't last any longer either. I will switch to Nittos for next set and see if they are any better.
Thanks to everyone who gave me the excuse that it is the alignment and not my driving habits!!

i have seen the steel belts showing on the inside edge at 6000 miles and the rest of the tire was hardly worn.

                Re: Good Year Run Flats

Went to the local Chevy Dealership today. They spent almost two hours aligning the front and rear. I was pleased it cost $85.00.

Tire life should be much better now!

Harry...do you know what the specs were for your alignment? Here are the recommended factory specs for the different suspensions. Do you know if they used any of these?

Thanks Harry and Vinnie. New tires on car (Nitto Invo's) Doing alignment early next week. Great to have these specs. Vinnie, you mentioned carrying a "fix a flat" type product. How would that effect the tire pressure sensor if used? Any idea. Let me know.
                        Thanks.

the fix a flat will ruin the tire pressure sensors.

Deane...the Slime yellow label sealants are supposed to work just fine with tpms sensors...but I'm not an expert and have no experience with using it yet...website also says it can be washed out with water after the tire is broken down to repair the tire from the inside...

                            From the Slime website

Does your vehicle have a TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System)? Use our yellow label sealants with the TPMS Safe icon. They are specially designed for use in tires with these systems.

interesting as a lot of corvette owners will be interested in this. i will call them today and see what they say. reading their website it looks like you put the stuff in before you have a flat. it is not clear to me that it goes in thru the tire valve but put in before the tire is mounted

Their website also states "not for use in tires mounted on chrome wheels" or "may not be good for....." Vinnie and Clem, thanks for the follow up.
