Part Number Help - Wiring Tie which is correct?

The 1960 AIM shows a wiring clip/tie part number 3113732. Paragon and CC both have two ties referenced for this wiring application, one plastic (photo 1) and one brass (photo 2).

My AIM shows two of the ties under the nose and holds the wires to the headlights and parking lights. Two more under the dash.

I think the brass one is correct for my 60 application. Is this correct?

    Thanks,

    Don

I believe the plastic is for the wiring and the aluminum for the hoses.

So what I did find in the 58-60 TIM & JG is that the ones under the dash are the white plastic ones. I'm still not sure about the ones under the nose that hold the light wires together. The diagram in the AIM look like the metal ones.

        Don,

The ones at the nose for 61-62 are plastic also. The ones that hold the hoses for the windshield washer are aluminum. I would think it is the same for 58-60.

I think that GM #3113732 is an old Harrison Radiator Division part number. However, I cannot find that it was ever a SERVICE-available part.

The Master Judges informed me last fall that my 1960 should have two brass ties behind the grill.

                thanks Joe.

I can see from the AIM where the two brass ones go. Little more difficult to determine specifically where the one brass and one plastic go under the dash.

If you still need to know, I can look under the dash on Sunday afternoon. I confirmed 7 years ago (electrical fire; needed new front wiring harness) that my mechanic installed them where the AIM shows them to be.

What is puzzling is that there are four that I can see on the wiring harness AIM Sect 12 Sheet 2.00 and they all have the same part number. I found the under dash ones also on Section 12 Sheet 9.00 but no part number listed. I'm wondering if there are two brass ones under the dash more toward the passenger side as indicated in Sheet 9.00, and also the plastic one above the steering column, but I don't find it on the AIM. So I'm still confused.

Apparently, the plastic tie is known from unrestored cars. I just stick with what the judges are looking for. I have one plastic and one brass under the dash and received no deduct at Lone Star Regional last fall.
