    C3 Emblem Colors

My emblems on my '72 are in good shape with the exception of faded paint. I did a search and say quite a few threads on C2 paint colors but nothing on C3s. I'd like to repaint these myself but what is the best way to accurately determine the original colors and gloss level that I need to match?

    Thanks,

    Glen

Testor's hobby enamels work well. You will want black, white, possibly gold, and flag red. If the flag red seems a little bright, try regular red.

      Glen,

I have done some research regarding the colors of emblems. The red in the flag on the left side is a dark red or even a maroon. GM replacements and repos are bright red. This will appear in the next version of the 70-72 JM manual. Hope this helps.

Thanks Michael. I'll pick up up over the weekend.

          Ron,

Thanks. The correct shade of red had me concerned. I'll go towards a maroon.
