Repop RPO hubcaps

Has anyone heard that the small hubcaps aka dog dish will be reproduced? With the popularity of these small poverty caps it would seem inevitable that they would be reproduced. I have found them very difficult to locate in decent shape and the cost for good ones has reached a level where repops might be profitable to produce. They certainly must be easier to stamp than the full size caps. Any rumors?

Dog Dish hubcaps were reproduced years ago. Don't know if they still are or not. Problem is they're magnetic and the originals were not.

That would not be a problem for me. My days of being OCD about small details are behind me. I know that 55-57 small caps have been done and I have a set on my 56 BelAir. They look fine and that's really what I'm looking for. I have some 60 small caps in less than great condition. I'll have to check them with a magnet to see if they are repops. Bill

I bought a set for my 57 several years ago. Excellent quality. I have not seen these done for
other years though.
