So, I was surfing around, looking at 67s again and saw this eBay ad.
Some of the stuff just doesn't add up.
Trim tag shows 420CC. That SHOULD be (according to Noland's book) saddle vinyl, used with A82 (headrests) and M35 (powerglide) only. The car shows neither of those. Yet, the tank sticker is shown in the ad, and it clearly shows 4 speed.
Also, the block shows "HT". I looked in my NCRS reference book, and there isn't an engine suffix for 4 speed 350 with air only (there is one for air & power steering (HP) and one for air, PS and K19 (KH)). If you added air to a 350 4 speed car, would it show HT or something else? The VIN derivative's last two characters look a little funky, but the rest of the pad looks great.
Not trying to knock the car, it looks legit. I was just working through in my head how I'd judge that if that car showed up on the field.
