Which leads to the real auction question - was this guy the ONLY real bidder at B-J and he has subsequently become better informed? Back to the auction circuit.....

I'd be skeptical of those claims .. not seen/heard of any car with extra chrome from factory, but maybe. Also, some other little things to double check.
1) dont think is correct carpeting as dont see rubber mat section below pedals, or maybe just a piece of carpeting overlaid there??
2) aftermarket oil gauge hanging under dash/steering wheel... not typical of $145m car
3) water pump incorrect... has adaptor fitting on bypass
4) Chrome top shield on distributor/spark plugs has 2 rivets.. think it should be 3 metal rivets for a 7115 car (these look like poly, which came later)
5) top shield has wing nut holding it on... should be a marked hex head bolt
6) Seat belts conspicuously out of view.. checked them out
7) Factory knock-offs look like simple aftermarket to me..
8) not sure about alternator.. doesnt appear correct, or has been reassembled incorrectly?

All these are correctable, and many many correct parts are there.. just a bit of tender care to correct these and others I likely missed. Key is to have inspected by expert
