1965 inside door pulls

HI my ? is, I understand that in late 65 the door pulls were chrome can some one tell me what month did they start with the chrome becouse my car is a med july and it has chrome inside door pulls. thanks Ralph.

Never heard of the chrome in the 1965 model year. Unrestored VIN 23564 (S-body, Aug 2nd '65) has black vinyl pulls. So has (unrestored) VIN 23563; (A-body, Aug 2nd).

Same with the front grille; regular '65 design, not the '66 egg crate. 1968 Pic of 23564 below (note Hemisfair '68 personalized plates).

Chrome was a '66 introduction you might see a set in the last day of '65 production.
