Oct '69 build/Heater vacuum control supply

This car has the double pie-pan wiper door can. The can has a one red and one green vacuum line. AIM says to connect the heater vacuum line to the "W/S wiper vac hose". Sine the red and green hoses are selected vacuum, this won't work. I believe based on the dates on this page, that this is for the cars with a vacuum control on the passenger side, which mine does not have.

Can someone with a later production car instruct me as to where exactly, and which line I'm to cut to splice in the "T" that supplies vacuum the the heater controls please??

The Heater/Defroster vacuum line connects to the yellow vacuum line from the wiper door vacuum relay on the drivers side firewall on late production 69's. I hope the attached picture is clear enough for you to see how the T splits the yellow wiper door vacuum line to allow the Heater vacuum line to connect.

I hope this shows the HVAC take off on my January 1970. Just to the right and below the vacuum relay. Now your challenge is to find the black plastic T and the little spring clamp. Lots of luck.

You mean this little jewel? Got one a year ago!!

Thank you Lawrence and Terry, your efforts are much appreciated!!
FWIW, I would bet the clamps are the same as the clamps found on the WW washer tubes.

It is a good thing you have those pieces in hand. They are not easy to come by.

I would rate it a good chance they are the same spring clamps as the washer hoses.

            Dan,

First pay no attention to the picture I attched. You want the configuration in Terry's picture. Sorry if I caused any confusion. Second the AIM does list the same number for the washer hose clamps and heater vacuum clamps.

I'm dredging up this old thread because I need one of these 3/8"x1/8"x3/8" vacuum tees. Does anyone know where I can find one? My searches of the usual suspects and google haven't been successful yet. Thanx.
