I'm sure this has been posted many times, but anyway. I am looking to buy a new enclosed car trailer. Just looking for some opininons on which are the better trailers. Aluminum trailers are nice but too costly for my limited use. I had a haulmark until someone hit it and totaled it (It was empty).

Re: Trailer question
Take a look at http://www.trailex.com/CTE-84180.cfm
Look at the Enclosed Sports Car Trailer.
A Chapter member has one and we just moved a car from South Jersey to New Hampshire. Not one problem and the car didn't move an inch. As I understand they hold there value.

Re: Trailer question
I recently purchased a slope nose 20 foot trailer from Trailer World in Bowling Greens, Kentucky. These are well built trailers and the wheel wells are designed low to accommodate Corvettes. The only issue I'm having is with the front cap. It made out of jel-coat and it's oxidizing easily. The company is working with me and I'm going to have it repainted at their expense. Other than that, I very happy with the trailer. My sales person was Keith.
White is recommended instead of black or red.

Re: Trailer question
If you are going to pull a trailer often, it is worth the extra price to step up to a better trailer. If just pulling to a few shows a year, trailers such as
Ed posted are more than adequate. Over the years I have bought about 10 trailers from Trailer World and have never had anything but top quality customer service.
As I don't have near as much need for a trailer as i once did, I just purchased a used 26' trailer. Hauling a car ever now and then and hauling my auction sound system, signs, etc it is all I need.
Cheap or expensive, store them in a dry inside building.
Always make sure that the trailer has four wheel brakes, even though it is Federal Law, there are still builders selling trailers with brakes on two wheels onlyDick Whittington- Top

Re: Trailer question
Pace went bankrupt last year, bought out by LOOK trailers a very nice quality trailer. It is a
new company { a few years ago} started by the son of the founder who started Haulmark.
I have seen them and they look great.
Remember all companies usually have about three different lines to choose from.- Top

Re: Trailer question
If I were to buy a new trailer, i would seriously consider 5,200# axles. Larger brakes and bearings.Dick Whittington- Top
