I just got the wiper motor from one of my '63's back from Corvette Specialists of Maryland-West. It was accompanied by a note that said: "518/13 case, Note: This unit has a #13 case, not usual, most 518's have 15 or 16 cases!"
This car has about 40K miles and I have owned it for probably 25 years. I don't have any reason to believe the wiper motor would have been changed out in that time. Would this be an issue if I ever decide to Flight Judge this car? Since the paint is bc/cc (I refuse to put today's blatantly inferior laquer with wrong pigment and wrong metalic flake on a car) we need to salvage all the other points possible.
