I followed owners manual to reset the Auto A/C system but it didn't reset. When I hit the brakes hard the red brake light and the service ASR/Service ABS lights come on. The latter may be cause of A/C going off?

I realize you posted this over a year ago but I'm having the exact same problem with my 92. When I hit the breaks hard the red brake light comes on momentarily then the ASR/ABS service lights come on and stay on until I turn the car off. When I start the car again the service lights are no longer lit. Did you ever get a solve for this issue, or is there anyone else that has troubleshooted this problem?
