It is with sadness that I inform you Steven Neel passed away this morning. Steven had many friends in the hobby and I know those of you who knew him will miss him and the help he was always willing to offer his fellow members.

This is truly said news as he was at last October's Texas Regional and seemed upbeat on his health and was fighting through his health problems, always upbeat and looking ahead. He will be missed by all that interfaced with him on various C-1 issues and judging.

May he rest in a better place!

Truly sad news, Steve was a great guy, always helpful with any questions I had with my car. I had the honor of having Steve judge my car @ the Sac Reg last Oct. God Bless you Steve, rest in peace.

I am saddened to learn of Steve's passing. He judged for me many times. In spite of the wheelchair, he got his job done with respect for the system and respect for the owner. Godspeed, Steve.

I met Steve on a plane to my first regional in Leavenwoth Washington in 2007. He was wealth of knowledge, and his tips got me through some of the bumps on my 71 body off resto.

Sadly I still owe him lunch and a visit to an old fashioned candy store in my neighborhood....
Guess we'll have to wait till I get to the "other side"

About ten years ago when I first joined the Arizona Chapter and began judging, I was paired with Steve. His knowledge was very impressive and helpful, and this was a C-2! A loss...and way too soon. May he Rest in Peace.
