I recently started the restoration of my ’65 Coupe I’ve owned since I was 20 years old. (Now 55) This is also my first topic and I did a search and could not find a lot about the natural cast finish that has many photos attached.
My question is this anywhere close to looking correct for a natural cast finish of my spindle and steering knuckler?
Note: There is no cast paint or clear applied to the part. I did apply some Boeshield T-9 to prevent the part from rusting and it does give the part a bit of a shine.
Just for fun I’m also posting what the part looked like prior to removal. This is actually the other side but you get the idea.
