Re: C1 Armrest Padded?
I don't see how I can fit any padding under the tight cover from Al Knoch. On Friday I ruined a new cover when the stitches split out on the pointed end of the cover. I used a light coat of spray adhesive, but won't use it the next time. I noticed that Al K had padding for sale, but did not purchase it yet.
Any installation advice?- Top

I had basically the same thing happen with a seat cover. I called Knock and told them exactly what had happened and they said box the seat up , send it to them and they would repair, put the cover on the seat, and return it to me with no charge. I wasn't very happy with the quality of the repair but otherwise their service was awesome. I would call them- Top

Re: C1 Armrest Padded?
Same problem with a 1967 seat cover some years ago. Called and talked to Al himself. Not a very customer service friendly response said to send the seat back cover back and they would "repair it". Pay a premium price and get a repaired part!! I am doing a seat recover for a friend on a 1954 who wants it to look original I bought them from AL. Red covers, new foam and installion kit. Keeping my fingers crossed and will let you know how the seats will come out.- Top
