    Voltage regulator adjustments

I cleaned and dressed the points in my 9002E voltage regulator and now it's time to adjust. I set the "air gap" for each of the current and voltage coils at .075" with the points just touching. at rest the points are closed. Is this right or is there a points adjustment? if so, how is it made? The cut out relay is adjusted for both "air gap" and points, what about the other two?
I don't have a service manual (yet) that tells me in detail how to do this. The unit is correct for my car and I don't want to screw it up by experimenting.
    Thanks,
    Pat

Pat, Until you get yours, here are the pages from my 1961 Shop Manual. Hopefully they'll be legible. If not, open each one and "Save As" to your computer so you can magnify them.
