Really depends on the engine you are running, as the different engine packages had differing calibrations and hardware packages. What Year and engine are you looking for?

          Re: OBD-I trouble codes

I use the attached list .... this one is correct for 1994 LT1 Corvettes.... be aware that the C12 code is in fact a delimiter code that just tells you the system is working... any code with a "C" in front i.e. C21, C25 etc is a "current" trouble code... if it has an "H" in front like "H21" or "H25" etc it has been fixed and the code stored in history... there is a simple procedure to clear the codes.. the C12 will remain.... contrary to popular opinion disconnecting the battery will not clear the codes... As you read the codes the system will cycle through each module and display any current or history codes.... or... no codes if there are no current problems and any history has been cleared.

NB: C12 is not an error code but indicates the On board diagnostics are operational.

              Re: OBD-I trouble codes

What Bill shows is correct for a 94 (I think for 95 also).
If you have a 92-93 both the jump positions on the ADL connector (paperclip) and the codes are different.

I have the complete procedure on an Adobe PDF file and can email it to you.

                Re: OBD-I trouble codes

                Hi Guys:

My understanding is that the 94 and the 95(maybe?) use an OBDII connector but the system is based on OBDI.... I know my 94 has an OBDII connector so you jump pin 4 to 12 to get the codes... OBDI codes get displayed.......not sure what pins to jump if have an OBDI style connector on the 92-93 cars....

                Regards
                Bill

                  Yep, correct Bill

The pins on the ADL for 92-93 are lettered. You jump A & G which, looking at the front of the connector, A is on the bottom row to the far left and G is on the top row to the far right.
                  And the codes are different.
