    Bill,
There are a couple of methods to use. One would be to use
Krylon Flat Black and mask off the outer area. Then spray and let dry. Then use lacquer thinner, a rag and a Popsicle stick to remove the paint from unwanted areas. The other would be to get a small bottle of Flat Black model paint from Hobby Lobby and a fine pointed brush. Brush in the paint, let dry, and use the removal technique above. With a little patience you should have a pleasingly improved result.

    Good luck

Another method that I have used on recessed areas of emblems is to thin the paint and use a hypodermic
needle to fill the recesses. I usually get needles designed for large animals from the vet.
After the paint dries, I may add a second application if needed. Seems to work on most emblems.

        Harry,
Thanks very much. Sounds like a plan. I have several spare KO's to practice on. Bill

David, Thanks to you also for responding. Had not seen your response when I responded to Harry.
That is certainly an interesting approach.
