What are the date codes for a 66 corvette expansion tank did they omit the i in counting the months. Thank you

I do not know about omitting the "i" but the code is a YYM The example given in the JM is "66D" = April 66.

I'll go out on a limb here, and say no "I" stamping for the month on expansion tanks, just like another Harrison item (the aluminum radiator). I have an examples of both a 63 M rad (for December 1963), and a 66 M rad, (Dec '65) which means that September was "J".

As a "general rule" for all parts the stamped date codes do not use the letter "I" (M = Dec.) while casting date codes do include the letter "I" (L = Dec.).
I can not think of any date codes that do not follow this "general rule" but there may be an exception or two.
