    72 Schematics

Is there anywhere to get proper assembly procedures for such things as headlight assemblies ? I have all the exploded views but nothing that says when you assemble, which part is first, which is second and so on !
    Thanks -- Rey Stenhouse (26007)

    Rey,

Do you have the 1972 Chassis Service Manual?

The '67 CSM has a fairly extensive description, almost two full pages with two illustrations on the Headlamps and Headlamp motors, not counting the Exploded View which is one page earlier in the CSM. It's under "Electrical — Body and Chassis 12-8" in the '67 manual.

      Hi Rey,
The Chassis Service Manual has 'some' headlight info in the Body Electrical Section 12-3 under Maintenance and Adjustments. There's info under 'Lamp Housings', and also under 'Vacuum Operated Headlamp Service'.
I think studying the AIM pages is important too. UPC 12, A2 and A3.
      Regards,
      Alan
I mount the door to the frame first, then start on the mechanism

      4th #7,8,9,16 (Sleeve, Bushing & pin)
      5th #10 (Lower Spring)
      6th #23 (Upper Spring)
Look at the drawings for the sleeve and cotter pin locations
