    1964 thermostat housing color

Is the thermostat housing on a L75 engine painted orange or black? I see it in pictures as orange and black and what looks like grey or silver. Is the accelerator return clip grey and is nt return spring bare metal? Also what is the correct temp rating for the thermostat?
    Thanks

The thermostat housing is engine orange, as is the accelerator return spring bracket; the return spring is black phosphate. The thermostat should be a 180*F.
