I just purchased an 59 the keys are missing so I am replacing all the locks . How do I remove the glove box lock? Thanks Patrick McPherson(55168)

Patrick - If the locks you have for the car are original GM/Briggs & Stratton locks, I would suggest that you check them for KEY NUMBERs and get operating keys made and if necessary re-code the locks so they operate with one key as original. WHY, because reproduction locks are generally poorer quality and many times don't work as well as good 50+ year old original locks. My 2 cents. Pete- Top
