carpet cuts for "67

I am putting new carpet in my "67. Can someone tell me how the carpet is supposed to be cut for the at the rear of the seat track. I understand the correct placement of the cuts for flaps at the front of the tracks but I am confused how the cuts, if any, are at the made for the rear. I get the feeling that cuts vary throughout the mid-year's.
