    Turn Signal Flasher ... Which is Right?

    Does anyone know the ncrs correct turn signal flasher for a 1957? Some say its square, some say its round... anyone have the definative word? Is it the ZN232?

      58-60 JG says ZN232 only.

          1956-57 JG says "Tung- Sol AP 273 (round) or Signal-Stat ZN232 (rectangular)".

              The tung sol # is AP273 V not the AP273S.

                  Typically GM had two suppliers, i.e., Tung Sol and Signal-Stat, back then. So hopefully, the "correct" versions of both are called out as acceptable in the Judging Manual. Pete

                          I have two different types of SN232 flashers. One with raised SN232 letters and second with electric pencil effect. The raised piece seems to be the rarest. All comments will be appreciated.
