    Fuel Line supplier

I need to purchase a fuel line from fuel pump to carb on 427/425. I'm tring to resore car to "as original as possible" and am looking for best supplier or would the typical parts suppliers be the direction I should go.

I would recommend Paragon, Long Island Corvette Supply, or possibly Keen Parts. I believe that the 1966 Judging Manual says the finish on the fuel line is natural (bare steel). Just make sure the replacement line is the same finish.

Not certain if the Y fuel block has any special logos, but Paragon or LICS would know. Checkout their catalogues and pictures. None is mentioned in the JM.

I believe Hot-Tin Dipped steel tubing was standard for all GM in that era. The JG reference to "steel" is usually to reflect magnetic vs Non-Magnetic (ie-stainless) properties.

The old brake lines had/have a Terne finish. That line is getting scarce today you know. If you go to some of the big name chain stores to buy some brake line it comes with this awful black finish or a silver finish. The future is not going to be good for the companies bending lines for us on their C&C benders. So if you need lines better stock up on them. If I am wrong then all the auto stores in my area are the reason. All is the key word. JD

Most not if all repoppers will offer the same steel gas supply line. Like Larry purchase most of my supplies from Keen Parts....Kyle or Kevin.
