The driver bucket rotates but the passenger will not. The driver bucket sounds like it's straining to rotate like the passenger side bucket is getting power but "locked up". The car has been sitting for 24 years and I have been lubing, several things and would not be surprised if the bucket is "stuck". I want to logically troubleshoot this problem but don't know where to start. Any suggestions?

Re: Passenger headlight bucket will not rotate
Lawrence,
Start by reaching under the nose and turn the knob at the motor. It is the manual way to operate the buckets.
The grease gets hard and usually you need to remove the motors and relube the works.

I did that and could not get it to rotate up. That was why I thought it was stuck.- Top

Re: Passenger headlight bucket will not rotate
if bucket rotates freely then next would be the large gear on the motor - normal to fail if it is the original - still available from most vendors - search this forum for "how to" instructions - not hard to do with basic tools - easy if you pull the hood - can be done with hood in place if you are very very carefull- Top
