Does anybody know of a good, Classic Corvette Mechanic in the Ventura County (Calif) area? Los Angeles, or San Fernando Valley would be fine as well

Mike Bradley's Automotive in Chatsworth works on a lot of vettes, and has for many years. He specializes in them.

That's not far at all. I'll be giving him a call. I'm at the end of my rope with my current guy. Too bad...He's excellent, but as of late, not the easiest guy to work with. Uphill battle all the way. We "Talked" yesterday....Best I move on. I'm sure this thing is not a problem that requires a NASA Engineer...

You did not indicated what generation corvette you have. Jeff Reade is the best C-1 and C-2 guy around. I did a frame off on my 57, and Jeff Reade did my hard top, and built my 270hp engine. I did not find anyone in Ventura Co., my home, at the time of my restoration. I have no knowledge of a C-3 guy. Jeff has a lot of Top Flight cars he has provided his expertice. There is a young man who lives in So Cal who did frame off restos for Leonard Nagel of Orange Co. He did beautiful, very detailed work on Leonards C-1 and C-2's, and had a lot of Duntov awarded vettes. Some one in the SC/NCRS group, where he is a member, knows his name and phone number.

If Jeff is not your preferred mechanic, you might give Daniel Espino a call. He is the restorer that Ed is referring too in his post. He is in LA (Brea). His number is: 562-522-9229

I have never used him personally, however I have seen his work and it is very nice (as Ed stated).

Daniel, Has restored a number of cars for a major collector. i have had the opportunity to judge some of his work. First Class all the way. jeff is good as well.
