1957 lower dash paint finish

Getting ready to paint the lower dash and column mast. What finish should be applied. gloss or dull ? Thanks for your input

Jerry, The typical finish is that of unpolished lacquer. Remember the upper dash is flat to eggshell. Looking forward to seeing your car someday.

Scott,Thanks for your quick reply. Another question, what finish should be obtained on the lower dash. gloss or dull? The JM is not very clear in the discussion of lower dash finishes. Only points out colors

The lower dash finish is, The typical finish is that of unpolished lacquer, I apologize for not being too precise. I added the upper dash information to assist you in your restoration.
