Jack Dates

My 1972 came without the original jack and I'm about to start the search for one. One question that I had is what is an acceptable time frame for the date code on the jack prior to the build date of the car - Feb. 21, 1972 in my case?

Any date up to 6 months before your build date

Hi Glen,
There's a September 71 jack for sale on CF right now. That's near the other end of the 'date spectrum', but I believe it would work for you if you don't find a date you like better.

Hi Glen,
Try this...

F/S- Correct jack & lugwrench for '71 vette It was posted beginning on the 13th so it's a couple of pages down

The poster is gotvet. I believe it works for an early (not earliest) to mid 72 cars.
