Steve, I goofed when I went to Altoona as originally I want to load up with 100LL but in all the confusion forgot to bring my gas cans.

Let me think about this. A gallon of "gasoline" averages 116,900 BTU, a gallon of ethanol averages 76,000 BTU. If the blend of ethanol to gasoline is 10% ethanol then that gives us a blended BTU per gallon of 112,081. This is a 3.5% difference. Therefore the milage reduction from 14MPG would be about a 1/2 MPG, or 13.5 MPG. Just saying.

...dead-on bullseye, Jerry, but I guess it takes a Wisconsin ERC grad to sort through the complicated chemistry, themodynamics, and math to do the analysis.
