I may have the wrong info but what is the difference between a B-20 and a B-26 both have the same specs don't they?? any insite please!!

Until a few years ago under the Echlin Brand, B26 had a different part number than B20. Someone finally figured out that they were essentially both the same, so the B26 part number was discontinued and the B26 was consolidated under the same VC-1765 part number.
If you order VC-1765, today, the part in the box may be stamped either B20 or B26, and the same should apply if you order this SMP-manufacturered part under any other other of the several brands that offer this part in their product line.
I recommend testing them before installation to verify that they start and stop within about 1" Hg of spec, and they should be tested after installation to ensure maximum advance is within 1-2 degrees of spec.
