T-10 de-coding

Before everyone tells me to search the archives, I must say, the search on this site and I have ireconcilable differences. OK, maybe they are reconcilable, but it's going to require a cheatsheet.

I have been attempting to decipher the stamp code on the T10 (T-10) transmission in C1s. I think I've read 2 conflicting explainations, so I thought I would post up some examples that are currently on ebay. They are:

WD56 2
WA61-2
WH82-3
WC92-2
WB61-2
WK1523
WD131 2

As you can tell, the format varies widely. What is the secret to understanding these codes?

Robert,

W= Warner Gear, D=April (no I used), 5= day of month, 6=year and 2=shift the transmission was assembled.

Regarding search - recommend you read the FAQ's. Great how to information from a fellow TDB member Rich about proper boolean search syntax to use to get best results.
