Did the 1964 corvettes have build sheets hidden in them?

No, the tank stickers started in 1967. I've heard some say LATE 1966, but 67 on up for sure.

Hi David:

They did have build sheets, just not attached to the car as in 67. I don'y know if they made it to the dealer with the car. I was fortunate enough to have one on my 62. The earlier cars had the build sheet in the package tray but apparently they were tossed by the dealers upon delivery. Mine ended up under the passenger seat and found 30 years later when removing the seat.

A copy of the build sheet was included in an article posted in the Restorer a couple of years ago. It's amazing only a handful are known to exist. I sold the car to a famous well known baseball player. By the way, I did win a 20K slot jackpot in Vegas many years ago at a time when it was desparately needed!
