Correct 1995 Wheel Weights

Does anyone know if "AWS" coated, lead, clip on wheel weights are correct for a 1995 Coupe? The Corvette Technical Information Manual and Judging Guide simply describes them as "the plastic coated clip on type".

Most weight manufacturers describe the AWS as still being used through the 2000 model year, but they had switched to the adhesive type. I can't find a weight chart that goes back before 2002.

"AWS" type weights of the clip-on, coated style were the type used for all 1995 Corvettes. Original weights were lead. However, there are many states in which you can no longer obtain lead weights and suppliers will generally not even ship lead weights into those states. In addition, tire shops (where the vast majority of wheel/tire assemblies are balanced) in those states will usually not install lead weights even if you supply them. "AWS" type non-lead weights are available in "AWS" type but for any given ounce weight they are larger than the lead weights.
